Cheating in StarCraft 2: Not a Good Idea
At least officially… As long as you keep it offline, to yourself that is, everything is good. However, if you log in to battle.net with an altered game client you’re risking being permanently banned from the server, so don’t do it. Blizzard has always taken cheating very seriously with all its games and StarCraft II is no exception to that rule.
You should not use hacks or any modifications that violates battle.net policies because that will go against the spirit of fair play that all of Blizzard’s games are based on. It’s still okay to use Starcraft 2 Cheats in single player games though (press Enter then type in the cheats for Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, then hit Enter again):
- terribleterribledamage – Activates God mode, meaning your StarCraft 2 units won’t die, drones included.
- smoldersbolds – Get 5,000 Minerals and Vespene Gas. Good cheat!
- moredotsmoredots – With this cheat, units will not require resources to train.
- sosayweall – Disables tech requirements (cheat refers to the Battlestar Galactica TV series).
- mintmansoperator – Cheat disables food and PSI requirements.
- sawnoutofmemory – Fog of War is lifted, clear weather ahead.
- iamironman – +1 Upgrades to weapons, armors and shields for infantry units.
- basestarsprimative – This cheat will enable you to build stuff faster.
- kerriganunits – To pass the 200 units limit, type in this cheat.
Please keep in mind that, while using Starcraft 2 Cheats, you will not earn achievements. In the spirit of fair play, you will need to play a mission again to earn achievements. Power overwhelming!
